Sponsored Dog-Walk

Our 12th Annual Sponsored Dog Walk took place on Sunday 10 September 2007 at the
Branston Water Park. This event was, once again, well attended and over £650 was
raised. this is a joint effort for both the League of Friends and Phoenix Hospital
Radio. Thanks go to all the walkers and their "pooches" who took part. All "faithful
friends" were awarded a rosette and a goodie bag. We are always pleased to see new
walkers, so do try and join us on our 13th walk on Sunday 14 September 2008 - again
Branston Water Park any time between 2.00 pm and 4.30 pm. Thanks, as always, go
to League and Phoenix members who helped at this event.
Art Gallery

The League of Friends Art Gallery was opened at the end of 2006 in the Coopers Restaurant
within the Hospital. All of the artwork is for sale and its aims are to make the
Restaurant brighter for the customers, to give local artists a display board, and
to raise funds for the League (25% of all sales).
Individuals and local art groups are invited to come along and exhbit. The project is co-ordinated by one of our members
